The chat and its suggestions
The project's chat: what it can do, what it asks you to confirm first, and how its proposals reach the same review as the rest.
What the chat can do
Open Chat at the top of a project. It works with the same tools a coding agent gets (the MCP tools): it reads the project, edits stakeholders, stories, requirements, subsystems and interface contracts, runs the AI actions, saves versions and undoes changes.
- Discuss in chat, in an item's details, brings the item into the conversation.
- Ask, beside a gap or a fix on the Overview, writes a message for you to edit and send.
- Each message uses credits. The chat is off while AI is working on the project, and for members who can only view it.
What it asks you first
Deleting a story, a requirement, a stakeholder, a subsystem or an interface contract, and accepting suggestions, wait for you: the chat shows what it is about to do, with Confirm and Cancel. It cannot delete a project. Undoing, redoing and restoring a version run without asking, because each can be reversed.
Its suggestions
When the chat runs Regenerate, Analyze, Audit or Propagate, the proposals are saved like any others, and its reply says how many. Review pending requirements or Review pending stories opens the same review as the toolbar's (Reviewing what is proposed). Ask the chat to accept some, and it asks you to confirm first.
What it keeps
The conversation is saved with the project, and undo takes it back with everything else. An export leaves it out unless you tick Include chat history.
