Sharing a project

Sharing one version of a project on a read-only link, giving people access to the project itself, and the previews of an import tried before signing up.

The project's owner can publish one version on a read-only link that needs no account: Public link, in the project panel's settings. Choose the version, then Create link. The link shows that version, never the live project, so it does not change as you keep editing. Publish selected version moves it to another one.

A reader sees the version's stories and requirements, with filters and search, its open questions, its Spec score by area, and Export JSON to download it. Not the chat, the Spec score's findings and fixes, or who works on the project. Search engines do not index the page.

Stop sharing ends the link for good. New link replaces it, and the old one stops working.

Members

To work on a project together, add people under Members, by username or email, either with Can edit or to view only. Only the owner adds and removes members, and changes what they can do.

Previews of an import

A repository tried on Import from OpenSpec or Import from Spec Kit before signing up opens as a read-only preview. Anyone with its link can read it, except an upload, which opens only in the browser that sent it. Sign up to keep it: a preview nobody claims is deleted after seven days.
